WHAT DO YOU DO AT HIGHER EXPECTATIONS?
I facilitate meetings and conversations with parents, families, and students. This helps higher expectations support community-led strategies to improve educational outcomes for the community.
WHAT IS YOUR BACKGROUND?
I am a mom of 3. I have a long history of volunteering in the community, I started in high school in the Kiwanis Key Club. I’ve continued to volunteer through the years so I didn't want to pass up an opportunity to do more in my community and for my children’s school so I joined COFI at Knapp.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO DO IN RACINE COUNTY?
Visiting the lakefront and locally owned eateries.
WHEN YOU WERE A KID, WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU GREW UP?
I wanted to be a psychologist or social worker.
WHAT MAKES YOU EXCITED TO BE A PART OF THE HIGHER EXPECTATIONS TEAM?
Making a difference and growing my knowledge to further my outreach and impact in our community.
WHAT’S ONE THING YOU LOVE THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WORK?
I love K-Pop and K-Dramas (Korean Pop & Korean Dramas). My favorite group is BTS and my favorite drama is Meteor Gardens (on Netflix)
