Higher Expectations named Racine Community Foundation Grant Recipient
With financial support from the Racine Community Foundation, Higher Expectations has launched a peer-to-peer home visiting program available to Racine Families with children ages birth-five.
What is it?
Peer-to-peer home visits led by a community parent. A trained community parent, Power Parent, will provide weekly visits focused on being your parent cheerleader! Racine County families with children ages 0-5 will be connected to a support network of parents where kids and their grownups learn and grow!

Families with children aged 0-5
Families with questions about community resources.
Families interested in supporting their child’s growth.
Home Visiting Goals
Center families’ goals and build confidence.
Create a community support network of parents.
Families with questions about books, reading, and their child’s feelings/emotions..
What can I expect during a Home Visit?
Approximately 45-minute visits up to twice weekly with our Power Parent Facilitator
