As a part of the RUSD Academies of Racine at the three major high schools, each Freshman Academy student has the opportunity to select their career pathway for the next three years. Beginning in their Sophomore year, students participate in a Career Academy and are able to have focused classroom and work-based learning experiences in the career area that most interests them.
Last week, each high school held their Declaration Ceremony where freshmen announced their intent to join one of the Career Academies. This marks the end of the second full year since the launch of the RUSD Academies of Racine, and the second class of students to enter a career pathway. See more about the ceremonies in the Journal Times.
