Wisconn Valley Construction Resource Fair
March 29, 2018 1 – 4 PM
Racine Civic Centre – Festival Hall, 5 Fifth Street, Racine
Parking is free in the lot south of the main entrance.
Interested members of the public are welcome to attend the event to learn more about the growing construction industry and the skills and training needed to start a rewarding career. Admission is free and no registration is required.
In addition, local education and training providers, trade associations and workforce professionals will be onsite to assist individuals with identifying and obtaining the skills needed for successful employment in the industry. A variety of workshops also will be offered to help job seekers explore construction jobs of the future, pre-apprenticeship training programs, entrepreneur opportunities and more.
The Wisconn Valley Construction Resource Fair is coordinated by the Wisconsin Departments of Administration, Transportation and Workforce Development, in partnership with the City and County of Racine, the Village of Mount Pleasant, Racine County Economic Development Corporation and the Southeast Wisconsin Workforce Development Board.
